Chip Howard has extensive experience in the insurance industry, primarily focusing on claims and operations. Chip began their career at Progressive Insurance in 2005, where they served as a Claims Adjuster for four years. In 2009, they joined Elephant Insurance and continued to grow their career within the company. Chip held various roles, including Claims Adjuster, Claims Supervisor, VA State Claims Manager, VA and MD Claims Manager, and Head of Claims Operations. Chip then transitioned to sales and customer care, taking on the role of Head of Sales and later Head of Customer Care. Most recently, they have been appointed as the Head of Underwriting and Anti-Fraud. Through their diverse roles and extensive experience, Chip has developed a strong understanding of the insurance industry and has honed their skills in claims, operations, sales, and customer care.

Chip Howard attended Longwood University from 2003 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Finance. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2002, they attended the US Coast Guard Academy, focusing on Business Management. Additionally, Chip Howard has obtained certifications such as an Insurance Agent (Health, Property, Casualty) from the Texas Department of Insurance in May 2018 and a TX adjusters license.
