Keith Copenhagen

Keith Copenhagen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Their most recent role was as a Contract Software Engineer at Elroy Air, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at FORME Life as a Principal Engineer from December 2020 to July 2022, where they created a production test and qualification ecosystem and participated in rapid prototyping.

Keith also served as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Bellwether Coffee from July 2019 to March 2020, contributing to the development of their embedded firmware base and guiding the productization of new control systems. Before that, they worked at Applied Silver, Inc. as a Principal Engineer from October 2013 to January 2019, where they designed and integrated an ARM7 with various controllers, sensors, and connectivity features.

In 2013, Keith founded Vigilent, Inc. and held the position of Founder and Chief Technical Officer until October of the same year. Keith developed concepts in biosurveillance and big data analytics and created proof of concept applications.

Keith's earlier experience includes roles as Chief Architect and Chief Scientist at Total Immersion Software from April 2005 to July 2011, where they contributed to successful proposals for government projects. Keith Copenhagen attended UC San Diego from 1977 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering. In 1983 and 1984, they studied at the University of Colorado Boulder, focusing on Computer Architecture but did not obtain a degree. Later, from 1987 to 1989, they pursued a Project Management Certification through the University of California, Santa Cruz's Extension program.
