Barney MacDonald

Barney MacDonald has held a variety of roles in the media technology industry. In 2022, they joined the BBC Web3 Advisory Board. From 2019 to 2021, they served as GM Business Development & Strategic Web 3 Partnerships, EMEA at Eluvio. Prior to that, Barney held the role of Media Technology Consultant at Roger Roger & Waldo Ltd. from 2014 to 2018, at Channel 4 from 2018 to 2019, and at NMP from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, they were a Non Executive Director at The Knowledge Lab from 2016 to 2018, a Solution Architect at Red Bee Media from 2018 to 2019, a Business Development Consultant at BASE Media Cloud from 2017 to 2018, a Programme Committee HPA UK at the Hollywood Professional Association from 2016 to 2017, and a Consultant at CODEX.ONLINE from 2017 to 2018.

Barney MacDonald attended Portsmouth University from 1992 to 1994, where they studied Electrical & Electronic Engineering, with Broadcast Specialism.
