Nicolas Oteiza

Nicolas Oteiza has over 10 years of experience in the field of data science. In 2010, they began as a Trainee Program at Tenaris University. In 2011, they moved to Senior Consultant at Continente Siete where they provided consulting services for fast moving consumer goods companies for four years. In 2015, they began as a Data Science Consultant and a Data Scientist at AltViz, where they researched and developed algorithms for text analytics. In 2016, they became a Data Scientist at WooCar and a Sr. Data Scientist at Globant. Additionally, they were a Teacher of "Introduction to Machine Learning with Python" Seminar at ITBA. Most recently, in 2018, they were Head of Data at Emi Labs.

Nicolas Oteiza obtained an Ingeniero Industrial degree from the University of Buenos Aires between 2006 and 2013. Nicolas was also a member of the Agent based Models Application Group (GAMA) at the University of Buenos Aires, specializing in agent based modeling and investigación. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Structuring Machine Learning Projects from Coursera in August 2018, Sequence Modeling from Coursera in July 2018, R Programming from Coursera in August 2014, Developing Data Products from Coursera in July 2014, Introduction to Computational Thinking and Data Science from MITX in May 2014, and Machine Learning from Coursera in October 2012.
