Taimur Rahim

Taimur Rahim is a seasoned veterinary professional with extensive experience in managing and treating a diverse array of exotic and wild animals. Currently serving as a Welfare Officer and Zoo Veterinarian at Emirates Park Zoo and Resort since December 2022, Taimur oversees the care of over 200 species within a facility accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). Prior roles include positions as Veterinarian and Zoo Curator at NOFA Wildlife Park and Veterinarian at Riyadh Zoo, among others. Taimur's experience also encompasses conservation efforts with the International Fund for Houbara Conservation. Educational background includes a degree from Riphah International University, complemented by various internships and volunteer positions in wildlife care and veterinary assistance.
