Chris Hodgens

Chris Hodgens is the Executive Vice President of Engineering at Encompass. Chris has over 25 years of experience in IT delivery, with a particular speciality in Crypto exchange. Chris has worked for Libertex Group, FIS, and Encompass.

Chris began their career at FIS in November 2015 as the EMEA Delivery Director. In this role, they were responsible for the performance of Banking and Payments engineering teams globally. Chris also led the internal reorganisation from Waterfall Silos to Agile teams. Under their leadership, the team successfully promoted 80+ core products.

In 2017, Chris left FIS to join Libertex Group as the Head of IT Delivery. In this role, they were responsible for leading IT delivery for an online Forex Brokerage. Chris also oversaw Development locations in Montenegro, Serbia, and Siberia-Russia.

Chris joined Encompass in 2020 as the Executive Vice President of Engineering. In this role, they are responsible for leading the engineering team and developing product strategy. Chris is also responsible for managing Encompass’s product roadmap and ensuring that products are delivered on time and meet customer expectations.

Chris Hodgens is a computer science student at the University of Portsmouth.

Chris Hodgens reports to Wayne Johnson, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Nick Ford - VP, Strategic Alliances, Magalie Pimentel - VP, Marketing, and Ed Lloyd - VP, Enterprise Sales.
