Franklin Dattein

Franklin Dattein has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Franklin began their career at GoDigital, where they worked as a Developer, focusing on developing data mining systems and email marketing software. Franklin then moved on to PROCERGS as a Software Designer, designing and developing a Java web application for managing government buildings.

Next, Franklin joined Diuno Informática as a Senior J2EE Developer, working on the SigamWeb project, a large-scale J2EE project for managing city halls and government departments. Franklin then founded PortalJava.com, the largest Java community in Brazil at the time, with over 37,000 users.

After that, Franklin worked at Hewlett-Packard as a Senior Software Engineer/Architect, contributing to the development of an IoT solution for enhancing printer supplies sales. Franklin also served as a Team Leader, leading an Agile team in the development of an embedded web platform.

Franklin then joined ThoughtWorks as a Senior Consultant Developer, where they played a crucial role in recovering a media competition web application with high performance scalability requirements. Franklin later joined the Australian Broadcasting Corporation as a Senior Consultant Developer.

At B33hive, Franklin worked as a Consultant Software Architect, designing and developing a social network platform for TV fans. Franklin also handled cloud computing architecture and performance tuning using technologies like MongoDB and Tomcat.

Later, at NBN Co Limited, Franklin served as a Senior Consultant Developer, contributing to the design and development of NBN's Service Portal, a web platform for placing voice and data orders.

Currently, Franklin is employed at Encompass Corporation, where they have held various roles since 2013. Franklin started as a Senior Software Developer before progressing to Software Development Manager, Software Engineering Lead, Technical Product Owner, and currently Principal Software Architect. In their current role, Franklin manages the development team and is responsible for the SaaS visualization platform, enabling users to make informed decisions based on correlated and visualized commercial data sources.

Franklin Dattein earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul. Franklin attended the university from 2000 to 2006.
