Matthew Cosgrave

Matthew Cosgrave has a diverse work experience history, primarily in executive roles related to strategy, operations, and business development. Matthew currently serves as the Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Encore Capital Group, where they lead a global transformation initiative and manages extended teams across multiple regions. Matthew also spearheads corporate innovation initiatives and evaluates potential acquisitions and investment ventures. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Operations & Strategy at Encore Advantage, a subsidiary of Encore Capital Group. Matthew has also held the position of Vice President of Business Development at Encore Capital Group, where they created new purchasing markets and secured financing for acquisitions. Before joining Encore Capital Group, Matthew served as the Vice President of Acquisitions at Propel Financial Services, where they led business development, operations, and analytics. Matthew began their career as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they developed corporate strategies and business plans for Fortune 100 companies and the U.S. Government.

Matthew Cosgrave earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Accounting from Georgetown University between 1997 and 2001. Matthew also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Virginia Board of Accountancy.
