Sheryl Wright

Sheryl Wright has extensive experience in government affairs, public policy, and corporate communications. Sheryl started their career at Sprint Nextel in 1985 and worked their way up, eventually becoming the Vice President of Government Affairs. During their time at Sprint Nextel, they led a nationwide public affairs team and developed strong relationships within the government and community. Sheryl was also a sought-after speaker within the industry and trade organizations.

In 2009, Sheryl joined Bridgepoint Education as the Vice President of Government Affairs. In this role, they led the organization's advocacy efforts and represented the company in civic and business community organizations. Sheryl also served as the Senior Vice President of External Affairs, managing government affairs, regulatory affairs, and public policy on a nationwide scale.

In 2012, Sheryl joined Encore Capital Group as the Senior Vice President of Corporate and Government Affairs. Sheryl led the company's corporate affairs efforts, including government affairs, public policy, and global corporate communications. Sheryl actively engaged with civic and business leaders through board seats and advocated for public policy positions.

Sheryl Wright holds an MBA degree from Kansas State University and a BA degree in Business Administration from Southwestern College.
