What You’ll Do

As a Principal Architect at Endor Labs, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with both technical and product teams to translate product and market requirements into designs that align with mid and long term goals for the product and technology evolution.
  • Design, implement (code), review and troubleshoot highly scalable cloud software.
  • Work with engineering management to scope and plan engineering efforts.
  • Utilize your deep understanding of cloud computing architecture to influence technical design and implementations, ensuring our solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight across projects, driving innovation and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Embrace a user-first approach to continuously improve the user experience, leveraging your strong analytical skills to solve complex problems and drive product excellence.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering an environment of growth and learning.

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on system architecture and design.
  • Deep understanding of fundamentals of Computer Science and Programming Languages. 
  • Solid grasp of software engineering principles and practices.
  • Profound expertise in Go, with extensive experience in building and maintaining distributed systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, demonstrating the ability to design, implement, and optimize database solutions for scalability and performance.
  • Highly technical and hands-on experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working across diverse teams and translating complex technical concepts into understandable terms.
  • A track record of strategic problem-solving, with the ability to balance speed, quality, and scope effectively.
  • A commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and fostering an inclusive work environment.
  • MS in Computer Science or similar field.

Compensation

For candidates who receive an offer for this position, the compensation range is expected to be between $200,000 - $275,000. This may include additional incentives such as commission targets, restricted stock units, and/or bonuses, depending on the role.
