John Grabnar

John Grabnar, PE has had a long and varied career in the energy industry. John is currently the Vice President, Engineering and Chief Engineer at Energy Harbor, a position they have held since December 2022. Before that, they were the Site Vice President at Energy Harbor for a brief period from November 2020 to February 2023. Prior to joining Energy Harbor, John worked at FirstEnergy Corporation for over 18 years, holding various roles including Director, INPO Organizational Effectiveness Leader, Director of Site Operations, Engineering Director, and Engineering Manager.

John Grabnar, PE completed their Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Akron from 1983 to 1988. John then pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finance from Case Western Reserve University from 1988 to 1992.
