Salar Ehsani

Salar Ehsani has a range of work experience, starting with their most recent position as Sr. Manufacturing Automation Engineer at EnerVenue since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Lucid Motors from March 2022 to March 2023 as a Senior Automation Engineer, where they played a leading role in designing new automation cells and handling equipment for General Assembly. Between 2019 and 2022, Salar worked as a Robotics Engineer at both Roboticom and Epica Applied Technologies, where they were involved in the manufacturing of advanced robotic systems for sanding, polishing, and milling.

Before that, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineer/Project Manager at Amsted Rail from November 2014 to June 2019, where they supervised projects, standardized designs, and modified them across all product lines. Salar also worked at Fontbonne University as a Robotic Instructor from September 2018 to December 2018, teaching students about modeling, design, programming, and control of robotic systems.

In addition, Salar worked as a Graduate Assistant at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from January 2012 to October 2014. Salar gained experience as a Project Engineer at Tetra Pak in 2011, designing packaging lines and developing project objectives. Prior to that, they worked as a Mold/Cast Technology Designer- Project Manager at Ravanshir Steel Foundry from October 2008 to October 2011, managing different manufacturing projects and providing technical support. Salar started their career as a Project Engineer at Part Re Tech in 2008, where they determined project specifications, selected materials, and led engineering teams.

Salar Ehsani earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Islamic Azad University between 1998 and 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 2012 to 2014.
