May Chin Lim

May Chin Lim has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting field. May Chin currently serves as the VP Controller at enGene since January 2024. Before that, they worked at 2seventy bio as the Senior Director Controller and Director Controller from November 2021 to January 2024. Prior to that, May Chin served as the Director of Financial Reporting and Assistant Controller at bluebird bio from January 2021 to November 2021. May Chin also has experience at CFGI, where they held positions as Managing Director from January 2019 to December 2020 and Senior Manager from September 2015 to January 2019. May Chin's early career includes their role as an Assurance Manager at EY from February 2006 to September 2015, where they managed various financial audit projects, developed audit strategies, provided career counseling to junior staff, and successfully established new business opportunities.

May Chin Lim completed the Chartered Accountants Program (CA Program) from the Institution of Chartered Accountants Australia between 2005 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Adelaide from 2000 to 2004. In 2023, they obtained a Program Certificate in Succeeding as a Strategic CFO from Harvard Business School Executive Education.
