Shweta Chaubey, PhD has over 6 years of experience in the scientific field. Shweta began their career in 2015 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. In 2018, they became a Scientist II at Invictus Oncology. In 2019, they became a Senior Scientist Group Leader at Akamara Therapeutics (formerly called Invictus Oncology Pvt. Ltd.) and a DST-INSPIRE Faculty at the Department Of Science & Technology (DST). In 2020, they became a Scientist at Bio-Rad Laboratories, where they developed a new microwell-based nucleic acid digital quantification product using SARS-Cov-2 as the model for RNA extraction using different methodologies and digital quantification. Shweta also worked on developing a microfluidic product for single cell sequencing. Currently, they are a Scientist II at Engine Biosciences.
Shweta Chaubey, PhD, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, General from the University of Mumbai between 2004 and 2007. Shweta then earned their Master's degree in Microbiology, General from M. S. University of Baroda between 2007 and 2009. Finally, between 2009 and 2015 they obtained their Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
