About the Role
Reporting to the head of Payments Operations, you will be the day-to-day contact for Pangea’s network partners, driving launches in new geographies and managing our ongoing relationships with existing partners. This role will require a mix of program management, relationship building, entrepreneurial thinking, business acumen and collaboration. You will work closely with Operations, Technology and Product Management to create strong partner governance structures, drive performance and monitor health of the relationships.
As Partner Success Manager, you'll get to:
- Growing the business through relationship building and strong partner communications keeping us informed of each other’s business.
- Create co-marketing opportunities, coordinate execution and review effectiveness.
- Working with partners to improve transfer success rates by analyzing partner data to identify initiatives that reduce issues or declines.
- Driving the accountability of partners with contract extensions, SLAs, due diligence, and quarterly business reviews.
- Improving system reliability and incident response with strong escalation paths.
- Closing the loop by managing correspondence and tracking follow-ups.
- Coordinating with colleagues for smooth market launches and lower customer acquisition costs through co-marketing.
- Approving partner invoices for accuracy.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of experience working directly with partners, vendors or in a customer success role.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with partners to drive performance improvements and expand capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence others and to drive accountability around goals, success criteria, and timelines.
- Project management skills, with an ability to coordinate execution and governance across multiple partners and priorities.
- Bias for action, with proven ability to improve processes.
- Solid analytical, slide creation and reporting abilities. Proficiency in spreadsheets (e.g. Excel, Sheets) and slide creation tools (e.g. PowerPoint) is required with data visualization (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI etc.) as a bonus
- Bachelor's degree in an analytic or business field; MBA an advantage, but not required
- Experience in Fintech, payments or money transfer services encouraged
Bonus if you have:
- Experience creating service level agreements and holding partners accountable.
- Experience coordinating co-marketing plans.
- Experience reviewing partner addendums and contracts
- Spanish language proficiency
