Derk Visser

Derk Visser has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Derk began their career at Philips as a Business Controller, where they worked from 1998 to 2006. Derk then joined Staples, where they held various finance roles, including Director of Finance and Accounting for Europe, Head of Finance for Brazil, and Head of Finance for High Growth Markets. After leaving Staples in 2014, they joined Garibaldi as a Finance Advisory and Management professional, specializing in restructuring, PMI, and emerging and high-growth markets. In 2015, they became the Finance Director at Praxis Doe-Het-Zelf Center B.V., a position they held until 2017. Derk then moved to Crocs in 2018, where they served as Senior Finance Director for the EMEA region. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Envipco as the Group CFO.

Derk Visser received their education from various institutions. Derk attended Maastricht University from 1991 to 1997, where they obtained a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting. Following that, they attended the same university again from 1996 to 1998 for a Postgraduate degree in Accountancy (RA). Derk later pursued further education at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 1998 to 2001, completing a Postgraduate degree in Controlling (RC).
