David Kerr

David Kerr has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. David started their career as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Envision Healthcare in September 2007. In June 2018, they were promoted to the role of Site Medical Director at the same company. In January 2013, David became the Medical Director at SCURRY COUNTY EMS, where they directed the development and maintenance of medical treatment guidelines and provided online medical direction. In August 2007, they also began working as a Medical Doctor at Cogdell Memorial Hospital Rural Health Clinic, where they served as a primary care physician for 16 years and practiced full spectrum obstetrics. Their tenure at the clinic and hospital setting ended in June 2023.

David Kerr earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Texas Tech University, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. David later pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from UT Southwestern Medical Center, completing their studies between 2000 and 2004.
