Steve Ross began their career in 2006 as a Process Engineering Co-op at Kimberly-Clark. Steve held this role for three consecutive years before taking on a similar role as a Process-Engineering Co-op in 2008. In 2010, they joined Envoy Development as a Product Manager. In this role, Steve led the deployment and maintenance of SQL database and front-end client onto customer servers, requiring close coordination with IT, software developers, and engineers across multiple companies. Steve was the primary point of contact for over 40 customers and provided support on a range of customer issues including software troubleshooting and process reliability issues. Steve was also an active participant in brainstorming new software features and product improvements, and led remote and on-site training sessions for proprietary statistical software. Additionally, Steve created training tools for proprietary statistical software, including help files and video tutorials, and rigorously tested new software versions to ensure seamless rollouts. Steve also demonstrated software to potential customers, adapting to their specific questions and priorities.
Steve Ross completed a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Paper Science and Engineering from the University of Washington between 2004 and 2009. In December 2019, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
