Marko Huikuri

Marko Huikuri is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in power electronics and control systems. Currently serving as a Modeling Engineer at EPC Power Corp since January 2023, Marko specializes in PSCAD and Simulink applications. Previously, Marko worked at ABB from 2016 to 2023 as a Senior Design Engineer for doubly fed induction generators (DFIG) in windmill applications and also held the position of Product Support Specialist. Marko's academic credentials include a Doctor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from LUT University, attained in 2019, and a Master of Science in Power Electronics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, completed in 2005. Additional experience includes a role as a Technical Manager at ABB, where Marko led technical support, research and development efforts, and was responsible for network and drive train simulations.
