Laurel Parks

Laurel Parks has a diverse work experience in various industries. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as an Assistant Project Manager at Rita Barela Productions, where they oversaw event management and supervised staff and vendors. From 2009 to 2013, they were a Sales Associate at Lush Wine & Spirits, conducting tastings and managing social media platforms. During the same period, they also worked as a Server at the James Beard & Michelin Star award-winning restaurant Naha, providing exceptional customer service and personalized assistance during private events. From 2013 to 2022, Laurel served as a District Manager at Breakthru Beverage Group, managing a successful sales team and fostering relationships with renowned establishments, resulting in substantial account growth and sales revenue increases. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Corporate Services at EQT Exeter.

Laurel Parks attended Diablo Valley College from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and General Studies. In addition to their college education, Laurel has also received several certifications. In 2007, they completed a certification in Event and Meeting Planning from San Francisco State University's College of Extended Learning. In 2011, Laurel obtained the Introductory Sommelier Certification from the Guild of Master Sommeliers. Laurel then became a Certified Sake Advisor in 2013 through the Sake Service Institute Inc. In 2017, Laurel earned the Certified Sherry Wine Specialist designation from the Regulatory Council of Sherry Wines. Laurel'smost recent certification, obtained in 2019, is a Level 2 Certified designation from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
