Rebecca Martin

Rebecca (or Becca) is Senior Project Manager for the International Partnerships. She leads on the delivery of the MISTI Global Teaching Labs initiative and supports the delivery of the Welsh Government’s Seren Network’s national program. This includes coordinating with all schools & colleges, student instructors, and university partners and maintaining all safer recruitment procedures. Rebecca is passionate about bilingualism and embedding Welsh cultural experiences in the programs, as well as the daily office life.

Rebecca studied French and Spanish (through the medium of Welsh) as an undergraduate at Swansea University, where she earned a First Class degree, and went on to gain a Distinction in her MA in Translation and Interpreting. Whilst studying, Rebecca spent a year teaching in the south of Spain, where she had the chance to spend a night camping in the Sahara Desert.
