Barış Ergün

Barış Ergün has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and big data engineering. Barış is currently employed at Equal Experts, where they specialize in big data engineering and development services. Prior to this, Barış worked at PairWise Software Ltd as a senior software consultant. Barış also gained experience at Kainos, working on a Scala, Apache Spark, and AWS EMR centric tech stack for big data pipeline delivery for a government end client. At Hitachi Europe, Barış provided Scala application development services for reactive streams. Barış also worked at IQVIA, contributing to big data development services for healthcare projects in the US and the UK. Barış has also worked at Elsevier, Shop Direct, Seagate Technology, Telenity, and AirTies Wireless Networks in various software development roles.

Barış Ergün completed their education at Yildiz Technical University from 1993 to 1998, where they pursued studies in Electrical Engineering. Prior to this, they attended King's College, Soto de Viñuelas from 1990 to 1992, where they obtained a B IGCSE degree in College.

In addition to their formal education, Barış Ergün has also earned several certifications. In 2017, they completed the Coursera Mentor Community and Training Course offered by Coursera.
