David O'Brien

David O'Brien has a diverse work experience in the field of project management. David is currently serving as the Director of Client Delivery at ESW since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Acting Head of Onboarding from September 2020 to December 2021, and as a Senior Project Manager from May 2019 to September 2020 at the same company.

In 2022, David also joined The Project Management .Expert as a project manager, and their current role lasts till date.

Before their current roles, David held various positions at OpenJaw Technologies from 2006 to 2019. David served as the Director of Project Management Office from September 2010 to May 2019, where they implemented project management standards and best practices. David also worked as a Project Manager / Programme Manager from December 2006 to May 2019, leading strategic projects and managing software projects for notable travel brands.

Prior to OpenJaw Technologies, David worked at SITA as a Project Leader from September 2003 to November 2006, managing multiple projects and ensuring client satisfaction. David also served as a Project Manager at Eland Technologies Ltd. from 2000 to 2003.

David started their career as a Programmer at Voyager Technologies International from 1998 to 2000.

David O'Brien obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computing Science from Griffith College Dublin, graduating between 1999 and 2002. David also holds several certifications, including a Negotiation Associate certification from NGstudy, a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile Inc (obtained in March 2020), a Business Strategy Capstone certification from Coursera Course Certificates (obtained in 2016), a Certified ScrumMaster certification from Scrum.org (obtained in 2013), and a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
