Darryl Anthony

Darryl Anthony has a diverse work experience in the legal field, specializing in data protection and privacy. Darryl'smost recent role was as the Vice President Data and Privacy at ESL FACEIT Group [EFG] starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Lead Privacy Counsel at Miro from September 2021 to March 2023. Darryl also served as the Lead Counsel - Data Protection at Diageo from November 2020 to August 2021. Before that, they held various positions at VMware, including Director (Global Privacy) from October 2018 to November 2020, and Senior Legal Counsel - Privacy from March 2018 to November 2020. Darryl also worked as a Senior Legal Counsel at RB from May 2017 to February 2018 and as the Group Data Protection Officer at Computacenter from January 2015 to April 2017. Prior to that, they held roles such as Senior Legal Manager at Panasonic from October 2013 to December 2014 and Legal Counsel at Alexander Mann Solutions from August 2011 to September 2013.

Darryl Anthony pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law from the University of Natal between 1996 and 1998. Afterwards, they attended the University of Westminster from 2002 to 2004 to complete a Legal Practice Course in Law.
