Haley Wightman

Haley Wightman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Haley is currently the Director of Operations at Esperanza United, where they started in July 2023. Prior to their current role, they served as the Director of Finance and Administration at ACLU of Utah Foundation Inc from July 2021 to July 2023. Haley also has experience in finance and operations consulting at 90.9fm KRCL, where they worked from July 2015 to February 2022. During their time at 90.9fm KRCL, they held various positions, including Membership and Operations Director and Development Associate. Before transitioning into the nonprofit sector, Haley worked as an Emergency Department Financial Counseling Supervisor at Cleveland Clinic from April 2011 to June 2013. Haley also has experience in research and analysis as a Research Analyst at United Way of Greater Cleveland from August 2008 to January 2011. Haley's earlier experiences include roles as an Evolutionary Biology Research and Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University and an Entomology Research Intern at Cleveland Museum of Natural History. Haley began their professional journey as a Benefit Bank Regional Program Manager - AmeriCorps VISTA at Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio from July 2007 to July 2008.

Haley Wightman is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the University of Utah, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Prior to their MPA studies, they engaged in Ph.D. studies in Evolutionary Biology at Brigham Young University. Before that, they obtained a B.A. with distinction in World Religions and Sociology from McGill University. Additionally, in June 2017, they obtained certification in "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera.
