Joy Liu

Joy (Yanxin) Liu is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Group Legal Manager at ESR since June 2021, specializing in Merger and Acquisition activities within the APAC region, fund formation, and joint ventures. Prior experience includes a tenure at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP from September 2016 to June 2021 as a China Associate and China Advisor, focusing on general corporate matters, corporate investigations, private equity funds, and mergers and acquisitions. Joy also interned at Dentons in the summer of 2016, supporting lawyers on M&A projects and private equity funds, and worked as an M&A Legal Intern at GE from August 2015 to March 2016, assisting in equity transfers. Academic credentials include a Master of Laws (LLM) in Economic Law from East China University of Political Science and Law, obtained from 2014 to 2017.
