Saad Y. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Saad started their career at the McCombs School of Business as a Work Study/Research Assistant, where they provided online research to multiple PhD candidates. After graduating, Saad joined Group Excellence as a Campus Director, leading a program for underperforming middle and high school students. Saad then transitioned to CDISC, a standards development organization, where they initially worked as a consultant before taking on the role of Senior Manager, Education Operations. In this role, they onboarded new members, guided product adoption, and monitored customer satisfaction and revenue generation metrics. Currently, Saad is working as a Clinical Informatics Project Manager at Essex, an Emmes Company, managing a complex cancer research project awarded by the National Cancer Institute.

Saad Y. pursued their education by starting with a Certificate in Business Foundations from The University of Texas at Austin, which they completed from 2005 to 2009. Following that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics (Actuarial Science) from the same institution during the same time frame.

Later, Saad Y. enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin – Center for Professional Education (CPE) from 2017 to 2018. During this period, they completed a Graduate level Data Analytics Certificate Program.

In addition to their academic qualifications, they also obtained certifications from the Project Management Institute. In November 2022, they acquired the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification, and in January 2022, they acquired the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
