Thea Sogenbits

Thea Sogenbits currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at the Estonian Tax and Customs Board, where responsibilities include establishing and maintaining the organization's information security vision, strategy, and program. In conjunction with this role, Thea is a Senior Partner at Smart Service Solutions, offering information security management services and consulting. Previously, Thea contributed to the International Association of Privacy Professionals as a Training Advisory Board member and served as an adviser to the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board, assisting in the implementation of an activity-based management system. Thea also holds an executive committee position with YWCA Europe and is pursuing a Ph.D. in the Business of Cyber Crime at the Estonian Business School.
