Hussein El-Souri

Hussein El-Souri is an experienced professional in embedded security software and engineering, with a diverse background in automotive security. Currently serving as a Field Application Engineer for ETAS since December 2021, Hussein previously worked as a Security Analyst at General Motors and as a Security Engineer at Ford Motor Company. Notable early career roles include Base Software Engineer at Magna International and Embedded Software Engineer Intern at Yazaki North America. In addition to technical expertise, Hussein has a strong foundation in mentoring, having served as a CECS Mentor and Youth Mentor at the University of Michigan. Hussein also provided mathematics tutoring at Henry Ford College. Educated at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, Hussein achieved a senior year standing in Computer Engineering.
