Laura Storjohann

Laura Storjohann, PhD has had a diverse range of work experience in the scientific field. Laura most recently served as the Global Director of Commercial Training at Eurofins Discovery. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Global BioFire Commercial Training at bioMérieux, Inc. At Seahorse Bioscience, a part of Agilent Technologies, they worked as the Applications Support and Training Manager. Laura also has experience as a Science Instructor at Itineris Early College High School and as a Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic. Laura completed their Ph.D. at the University of Copenhagen, where they were a Visiting Scientist. Previously, they worked as a Scientist and Group Leader at NPS Pharmaceuticals. Laura began their career as a Graduate Student in Cellular, Viral & Molecular Biology at the University of Utah School of Medicine and as a Research Technician at Thomas Jefferson University. Laura began their academic journey at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biotechnology from 1987 to 1991. Laura then pursued further education at the University of Utah from 1992 to 1995, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Cellular, Viral & Molecular Biology.

Driven by a passion for research, Laura Storjohann expanded their knowledge and skills in Molecular Pharmacology at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen. During the period of 2006 to 2008, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in this field of study.
