Shawn Griswold

Shawn Griswold has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of compositing. Shawn started their career as a Compositor at Exozet in 2014 and then moved on to Automatik VFX in the same position. In 2015, they worked at RISE | Visual Effects Studios as a Compositor. In 2016, they had brief tenures at Trixter and Atomic Fiction as a Compositor. Shawn joined Evil Eye Pictures in 2017 as a Compositor and later became a Compositing Lead. During this time, they also worked at Tippett Studio as a Compositor. In 2019, they served as a Compositing Supervisor at Evil Eye Pictures, overseeing a live action movie project. Currently, they are working at Industrial Light & Magic as a Compositor since 2021.

Shawn Griswold's educational journey began in 2007 when they attended Mt. Hood Community College. Over the course of two years, from 2007 to 2009, Shawn obtained an Associate's degree in Integrated Media: Video. Building on this foundation, they then pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree at The Art Institutes, specializing in Visual Effects & Motion Graphics. This educational endeavor lasted from 2009 to 2012.
