Andrew Wise has a diverse work experience starting from 2003. Andrew began their career as a Summer intern at Southwestern Company. Andrew then worked as a barman, chef, and waiter at Glegg Arms hotel and restaurant. From 2005 to 2012, they served as a Biomedical Scientist at Countess of Chester Hospital. In 2012, they joined Euprotec Ltd as a Research Scientist 1, focusing on infectious disease, respiratory, and allergy biology services. In 2014, Andrew moved to Evotec, where they worked as a Scientist II and later as a Principal Scientist, specializing in disease models and drug discovery and development programs.
Andrew Wise completed their degree in medical microbiology with a 2.1 at Newcastle University from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended Calday Grange Grammar School from 1999 to 2001 where they pursued A levels in Biology, Chemistry, Geography, and General Studies. Andrew is also a member of the Institute of Biomedical Science, holding a degree in medical microbiology.
