Jason Brown

Jason Brown has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Jason is currently employed as the SVP of Business Development at Evotec. Prior to this, they held the role of Scientific and Business Development Director at Ubiquigent Ltd, where they were also a co-founder and served on the board of directors. Jason has also worked for companies such as BioCatalyst International Inc, MolecularMD Corp, XCovery LLC, Eurofins, Pfizer, Parke-Davis/Warner-Lambert, and GlaxoSmithKline, where they held various roles in research, assay development, and leadership positions. Throughout their career, Jason has demonstrated expertise in drug discovery, assay development, and molecular biochemistry.

Jason Brown obtained a BSc (Hons) 2:i in Molecular Biochemistry and Genetics from the University of Leicester in 1991. Jason then pursued an MPhil in Molecular Biochemistry, specializing in purifying the molecular target of the Pfizer drugs Neurontin and Lyrica at the University of Cambridge from 1992 to 1993. Following this, they completed a PhD in Molecular Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge from 1992 to 1995, where they identified the molecular target of the Pfizer drugs Neurontin and Lyrica. Prior to their university education, they attended Rugby School from 1984 to 1988.
