Seda Kilinc Avsaroglu, PhD

Seda Kilinc Avsaroglu, PhD has a diverse work experience. From 2022 to present, they have been a Senior Scientist at Exai Bio. From 2016 to 2022, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCSF, where they focused on the RNA centered regulatory mechanism in cancer. From 2008 to 2016, they were a Graduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Wesleyan University, where they focused on the role of nuclear organization and epigenetic mechanisms that restrict expression to one of >1000 OR genes in developing olfactory sensory neurons (OSNs). From 2008 to 2006, they were a Research Assistant at Koç University. From 2005 to 2004, they were a Summer Intern at the Max Planck Institute for Experimental Medicine.

Seda Kilinc Avsaroglu, PhD, obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry from Wesleyan University between 2008-2016. Seda also holds two Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University, one in Chemistry obtained between 2002-2006 and one in Biology/Biological Sciences, General obtained between 2000-2005.
