Gabrielle Perron

Scientist - Computational Biology at Exai Bio

Gabrielle Perron has a diverse work experience beginning in 2013. Gabrielle completed an internship at the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal (IRCM) focused on molecular mechanisms of diabetes. In 2014, they completed a virology research internship and honours project at the same institution. In 2015, they worked as a Molecular Biology Tutor for UpGrade Tutoring and completed a Neuroimmunology research internship and honours project at the Montreal Neurological Institute (McGill University). From 2016 to 2023, they worked as a Graduate Researcher at McGill University: Research, Partnerships & More. Currently, they are employed as a Computational Biologist at Exai Bio.

Gabrielle Perron began their educational journey in 2010 when they attended Collège Édouard-Montpetit to study Health Sciences. In 2012, they enrolled at McGill University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Immunology interdepartmental honours and a Minor in Biotechnology with a focus in Human Genetics (bioinformatics). Gabrielle then continued their studies at McGill University, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Human Genetics in 2022.
