W.-H. Teh

Vice President, Global Manufacturing And Operations at Excelitas

W.-H. Teh has extensive work experience in various companies and roles. From 2018, they have been the Vice President of WW Operations at Excelitas Technologies Corp., where they are responsible for driving advanced manufacturing, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives. Prior to this, they worked at SanDisk™ as the Director of Strategic Programs and later as the Director of Advanced SSD Manufacturing Engineering. W.-H. also served as an MIT LGO Operations Research Fellow during their time at SanDisk™. Before joining SanDisk™, Teh held multiple roles at Intel Corporation, including Engineering Manager and Integration Program Manager. W.-H. also worked as a Senior Process Engineer at Portland Technology Development. Additionally, they spent some time as a Visiting Researcher at MIT Senseable City Lab, researching energy harvesting mechanisms and mobile hardware. Teh started their career as a Senior Research Engineer at Institute of Microelectronics and as a Visiting Scientist at Cavendish Kinetics and IBM.

W.-H. Teh has pursued higher education in various fields. They hold an S.M. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), as well as an MBA in Leaders for Global Operations from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Additionally, they obtained a Ph.D. in Semiconductor Physics from the University of Cambridge, an S.M. in Advanced Materials (Singapore-M.I.T. Alliance) from the National University of Singapore, and a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Malaya. W.-H. Teh has also received certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Intel Corporation and as a Theory of Constraints Jonah from AGI - Goldratt Institute.
