Tamara Olson, PMP

Tamara Olson, PMP has significant experience in program and project management, particularly in the government sector. Tamara has held leadership roles in various companies, including Exeter Government Services, LLC, Phacil Inc, NMR Consulting, MicroTech, and General Dynamics Information Technology.

At Exeter Government Services, they served as the ACC-ITSS Program Manager and provided motivating leadership to a team supporting the Army Contracting Command. Tamara demonstrated exceptional execution of service delivery across various platforms.

In their role as the Program Director at Phacil Inc, Tamara provided overall management and support for concurrent projects within the ACC G6 Portfolio. Tamara served as a conduit between customers, management, governance, and development teams, ensuring consistent project execution and effective communication of risks and mitigation strategies.

During their tenure at NMR Consulting, Tamara held the position of Director of Business Operations, where they provided portfolio and program level oversight for the Huntsville Regional Office. Tamara also served as a Senior Program Manager for the Missile Defense Agency, ensuring successful service delivery for several critical projects.

At MicroTech, Tamara was responsible for the successful delivery of all VTC services for the Missile Defense Agency. Tamara provided technical and operational oversight and reported status to government and corporate leadership.

In their role as a Subject Matter Expert at General Dynamics Information Technology, Tamara served as a Systems Engineering and Technical Advisor for the integration and operation of communication services for the MDA Enterprise. Tamara played a crucial role in task order management, technology implementation, and overall service delivery.

Earlier in their career, Tamara worked as a Flight Attendant at SkyWest Airlines and held the position of Director of IT & Network Services at DIRECTV, where they managed the operation and ongoing development of the IT Operations and Network Services Department.

Throughout their career, Tamara has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and exceptional execution in delivering high-quality services.

Tamara Olson, PMP completed their education in Electrical Engineering at Colorado Technical University from 1996 to 1999. Tamara also pursued additional studies in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the same institution. Tamara has obtained several certifications including ITIL v.3 from Loyalist Exam Services in August 2010, CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in February 2020, and the prestigious PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2015.
