Daniel Batista

Daniel Batista has extensive work experience in various roles within the media and entertainment industry. Daniel is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Exile Content Studio, where they have been working since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Digital Officer from 2022 to 2023. In 2020, they founded and became the Managing Director of Stormlight Advisory, where they provided strategic advisory services for media, tech, and consumer products. Daniel'sprevious experience includes roles such as Advisor and Co-Founder, President & COO at BESE, SVP, Head of Content Licensing & Business Development at mitú, and Director, Head of Corporate Strategy & Business Development at theAudience. Daniel also worked at Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros. Entertainment Group of Companies, and NBCUniversal Media, LLC in various financial and sales management positions.

Daniel Batista holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, which they earned from 2010 to 2011. Daniel also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their business education, Daniel acquired a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. Daniel spent a semester at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in 2001 to study Spanish and Iberian Studies through the University of California Education Abroad Program. Daniel completed their high school education at Loyola High School of Los Angeles. Furthermore, they have a certification in Scaling from the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative Education Program, obtained in 2019 from the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Education.
