Alec Duggan

Alec Duggan's work experience begins in 2016 as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at West Virginia University, where they worked until May 2018. In August 2018, they joined Applebaum Violin Shop as a Sales Consultant until September 2019. Following this, they worked as a Data Analyst at PayScale, Inc. from September 2019 to July 2021. Currently, Alec is employed at Extra Card, where they started as a Data Analyst in July 2021, then transitioned to a Data Scientist role in June 2022, and is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist from April 2023 onwards.

Alec Duggan began their education journey at the University of Washington from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. Following this, from 2014 to 2016, they attended Boise State University and earned a Master of Music degree in Cello Performance. Alec then pursued further education at West Virginia University from 2016 to 2018, studying for a Doctor of Musical Arts, focusing on Cello Performance.

In 2019, they shifted their academic path towards analytics and enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology. From 2019 to 2022, Alec completed their Master of Science degree in Analytics. During their time at Georgia Tech, they earned additional certifications including "Data Scientist with R" from DataCamp, "ISYE6501x: Introduction to Analytics Modeling" from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and completed courses such as "Mathematics for Machine Learning: Multivariate Calculus" and "Machine Learning" on Coursera in 2019.
