Cole Bower

Cole Bower has a strong background in information security with experience in various roles. Cole currently serves as a Principal Security Analyst at ExtraHop since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Information Security Analyst at Ntirety from April 2021 to March 2022. Cole also held roles at CenturyLink, including Lead Information Security Analyst from June 2017 to May 2019, and Information Security Analyst from June 2016 to June 2017. Before joining CenturyLink, Cole worked as an Information Security Analyst at GBprotect from October 2015 to April 2016.

Cole Bower attended Western Governors University from 2022 to 2024, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. Prior to that, they attended the Community College of Denver from 2014 to 2015, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems (IT) and a Certificate in Computer Technology. In addition to their degrees, Cole has also obtained several certifications, including the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) (Exam) from ISACA in 2024, the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) (Exam) from ISACA in 2023, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2022.
