Kala Ramachandra

Kala Ramachandra has a comprehensive work experience spanning over two decades. Kala is currently working at ExtraHop as the Vice President of Information Technology. Prior to this, they held the role of Vice President of Technology Services at Trellix (formerly McAfee Enterprise) from January 2022 to April 2023. Before that, they worked at McAfee as the Vice President of Technology Services from March 2020 to January 2022.

In 2016, Kala Ramachandra joined J. Jill as the Head of Technology Services, where they were responsible for managing and overseeing all technology infrastructure and applications, including network, data center, retail systems, and security. Kala held this position until March 2020.

From 2014 to 2016, Kala Ramachandra served as the Head of Global Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, and IT Security at Alkermes. In this role, they were responsible for planning, directing, and managing IT infrastructure operations across Alkermes sites.

Earlier in their career, Kala Ramachandra worked at Infosys as the Senior Director of Cloud and Infrastructure Services Practice from 2010 to 2014. Kala was responsible for managing a portfolio of IT infrastructure engagements and developing strategies for IT infrastructure outsourced services.

Kala Ramachandra also has experience working at HCL Technologies, Deutsche Bank, NBC Universal, and HP in various technology and management roles. Kala'sexperience includes program management, account management, business development, and team management.

Kala Ramachandra pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree from Bangalore University between 1994 and 1997. In addition, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career, including Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) from ISACA in 2018, PCI DSS from the PCI Security Standards Council in 2018, ITIL V3 from EXIN in 2011, and PMP from the Project Management Institute in 2010. Kala has also acquired FEMA for Emergency Disaster Preparedness from NBCUniversal, Inc. in 2009 and Six Sigma from GE in 2005. Furthermore, they have completed various leadership and managerial courses provided by GE, including Basic And Essential Leadership Skills, Hiring Skills, New Managers Development Course, and People's Managers.
