Peter Gifford

Peter Gifford is a Partner and Account Delivery Leader at Exusia, Inc. As a Partner, Peter is responsible for leading Exusia's Industry Solutions and Insights Practice and managing large global data management programs in the mid-west region of the United States, defining and executing innovative client solutions, and ensuring exceptional delivery and quality assurance to Exusia's clients.

With nearly 25 years of diverse and deep technical experience, Peter has led the development of several world-class information management solutions, directed multiple enterprise IT departments, and excels in helping clients to create innovative solutions that optimize costs, align business and IT operations, and grow revenue. Peter offers competencies across all functional components of information management – from integration, warehousing, governance, and quality to security, design, architecture, and visualization – and he is a skilled tactician, program manager, and senior strategist. Peter also brings deep industry knowledge in healthcare, financial services, and insurance, leveraging his business and technical acumen for world-class clients including Allstate, Baxter, Capital One, Intuit, HP, Northern Trust, Wachovia, Humana, and multiple Blue Cross Blue Shield members companies.

Prior to joining Exusia, Peter co-founded LaunchPoint, which provides cloud-based analytic solutions and services for healthcare enterprises, serving in several start-up roles including VP of Product Development, IT Operations, and Chief Security Officer. At LaunchPoint, Peter led and architected the data integration, user interface, data warehouse, and analytics development for the Discovery Health Partners software division, delivering leading-edge software that saved clients millions of dollars and shorten business processes. During his tenure, LaunchPoint was recognized as #100 on the Inc. 500 list of Fastest Growing Companies in North America and grew revenues in a three-year timeframe by 3,544%.

Before LaunchPoint, Peter served as the IT Integration Manager at Hewlett-Packard, where he led the seamless IT integration of Knightsbridge (acquired by HP) into HP’s new Worldwide Information Management Services practice. Previously, Peter served more than 10 years at Knightsbridge in a variety of capacities: as Director of IT, Peter led the team responsible for scaling the IT infrastructure to enable the HP acquisition, and as a Principal Consultant, Peter consulted and led multiple data warehousing initiatives.

Peter earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. When not enjoying time with his family, Peter loves to play ice hockey or golf. Peter and his wife contribute to several organizations and actively support International Justice Mission, the world’s largest agency combatting human trafficking, slavery, and other forms of violent oppression worldwide.
