Serban Mogos

Serban Mogos has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry. In 2011, they co-founded and served as President of Akcees. In 2012, they were a Junior Product Manager (Technical) for SponsorPay and a PhD Candidate for Carnegie Mellon University. From 2016 to present, they have been a Co-founder & COO of Eyeware, Co-founder & President of Startmeup Romania, and an Advisory Board Member & Local Leader for Romanian IT - the global community of Romanians in tech.

Serban Mogos has a well-rounded education history, having obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in SETChange - Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Technological Change from Carnegie Mellon University in 2017, a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Technological Change & Entrepreneurship from Instituto Superior Técnico in 2017, an MSc in Information Management from Tilburg University in 2012, an MSc in Economics & Business Administration from Turun yliopisto - University of Turku in 2011, an MSc in Management & Information Technology from Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management - IAE in 2010, and a BSc in Computer Science from The University of Sheffield in 2007-2010.
