Setrak Balian

Setrak Balian has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Setrak started their career as a Visiting Researcher at Sandia National Laboratories in 2011. Following this, they pursued a PhD at University College London, where they worked as a PhD Researcher from 2011 to 2015. Setrak then went on to join the University of California San Diego as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they became an ASI Data Science Fellow at the Department for Education for a short period of time. Setrak then transitioned to Faculty, where they held various roles progressively, including Data Scientist, Senior Data Scientist, Lead Data Scientist, and Research Engineering Lead. Currently, they serve as the Lead Engineer at Faculty.

Setrak Balian completed their education in a chronological order. Setrak first earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with Medical Physics from UCL, covering the years 2006 to 2009. Then, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Physics at Imperial College London from 2009 to 2010. Finally, Setrak Balian achieved a PhD in Theoretical Physics from UCL, spanning from 2011 to 2015.
