Katie Williams

Katie Williams has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Katie currently works as the Director of Communications at Fayette County Public Schools (KY), a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at the United Way of the Bluegrass, including Vice President of Marketing Communications from September 2014 to April 2022, and Director of Marketing and Engagement from May 2013 to August 2014. Before their time at the United Way, Katie worked at FHTM, Inc. as the Director of Product Marketing from October 2007 to February 2013, and as the Wireless Division Manager from August 2002 to October 2007. Katie began their career at Lexmark as a Marketing and Sales Intern in the Consumer Printer Division from May 2001 to December 2001.

Katie Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Transylvania University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002.
