Barry Corrigan

Barry Corrigan has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Barry started their career as an Insurance Broker at Financial Counselling Services in 1983 and later became a Technical Consultant at Shield Life (now Zurich Life) in 1985. In 1989, they joined Lifetime Assurance Co Ltd as a Technical Services Manager, where they quickly progressed to become the Technical Services Manager. Their responsibilities included supporting the branch network, sales force, and brokers, as well as providing training for the salesforce and branch single premium sellers.

In 1990, Barry joined Ark Life and held various technical, sales support, and sales management positions. Barry eventually became the National Sales Manager - Retail & Strategy and played a pivotal role in increasing productivity from their teams. This led to a significant contribution to Ark Life's profit increase over a five-year period.

After leaving Ark Life in 2004, Barry established their own consultancy business called B1 Consulting, specializing in property, finance, and project management. Barry gained recognition in the media by speaking on national and regional radio and writing property articles for national and regional newspapers.

Most recently, Barry worked as the Head Of Life and Pensions at FBD Insurance starting from 2016.
