Abdulkader Haj Ahmad is a seasoned professional in migration consulting and human rights policy with extensive experience in leadership and coordination roles. Currently serving as Team Leader of the Migration Consultation Center for adult immigrants at the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees since July 2022, Abdulkader also co-founded and serves as Executive Director of Violess e.V. since December 2021. Previously, Abdulkader held the position of Project Coordinator at UNICEF from September 2013 to August 2015, focusing on joint projects in Eastern Syria, and worked as a Program Coordinator at The Syria Trust for Development from February 2010 to April 2013. Abdulkader's commitment to social issues began with volunteer work at the Children’s Parliament of Dyer AlZour from June 2006 to January 2009, advocating for the rights of women and children. Abdulkader is currently pursuing a PhD in Political Science and Human Rights Policy at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, building on a Master's degree in Human Rights and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature.
