Kim leads the Learning Management Support Office, the team responsible for supporting the learning technology platform used by the 12 Federal Reserve Banks and the Board of Governors to deliver training and development to its 26,000-member workforce.
Her public service career spans more than 30 years, including roles in a broad range of human capital functions necessary to attract, develop, and retain a mission-capable workforce. Kim has held executive positions since 2007, most recently at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, where she led the Human Resources function, and at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where she served as the chief learning officer. Her experience includes leadership of high-profile programs that leverage technology, including the nation’s USAJOBS portal while at the Office of Personnel Management and a learning management system for DHS.
Kim is a U.S. Navy veteran. She holds a B.S. in mathematics from the College of Charleston, S.C., and an M.S. in organizational development and human resources from Johns Hopkins University. She is an alumnus of the Virginia Executive and Federal Executive Institutes.
