Thiwanka Madhawa

Thiwanka Madhawa is a PhD Candidate at the FEMTO-ST Institute, focusing on metamaterials for thermal flux control since October 2021. Previously, Thiwanka worked as an Internship Trainee at CEA-Leti from March 2021 to August 2021, where the development of innovative optical and chemical characterization methodology for LED nanowire structures was undertaken. Thiwanka's academic background includes a Master of Physics in Photonics & Nanotechnology from Université de Bourgogne (2019-2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka (2013-2017).
