Senior Events & Marketing Manager at FIDO Alliance

Tasha Silva is the Senior Events & Marketing Manager at the FIDO Alliance. Tasha has been with the company since October 2013 and in their current role for just over a year. Prior to that, they were the Program Specialist and assisted with the day-to-day management of the standards association as well as forecasted, created, and managed the association/events budget. Tasha has also travelled to international destinations in support of the client base and executed all meeting planning and coordination for events such as the RSA Conference in San Francisco.

Before joining the FIDO Alliance, Tasha was the Manager of Business Development at Hyatt Place San Jose/Downtown for three years. Tasha started their career as an Executive Assistant in Sales and Marketing at The Fairmont San Jose before being promoted to Corporate Manager of Sales for Fairmont Hotels and Resorts.

Tasha Silva has a BA in Hospitality from San Jose State University.

Tasha Silva reports to Megan Shamas, Senior Director of Marketing. They are on a team with Adrian Loth - Marketing Manager, Lori Glavin - Digital Marketing Manager.
